Update: 1/17/2025. I absolutely love Haramis Electric. I have called Haramis again because I had such a great experience with them last time; this time was no different. Last night my upstairs lights were not working, so I call this morning and Nick, the owner, came out himself. His guys were out in the field but he wanted my family to be taken care of. He was straight forward with what he thought was the problem and it turned out it was what he thought. My family and I saw and felt the superb service and care Nick provides. Truthfully, I am forever a fan and customer as long as he is open and even then I would probably beg him to never retire, lol. Summary: Stop looking elsewhere for service and choose Haramis Electric. Haramis was great! I needed a replacement fan put in my range hood. No other electrician wanted the job. But, Haramis fit me in and showed up on time. It took a bit to figure out how to get the old fan out without taking down the whole hood, but they perservered. In and out in less than a hour, and really nice guys. Haramis did the rough-in and trim-out for my entire basement, including lights, outlets, and a few specialty circuits for a fireplace and workshop. Cade, Nick, and team were very professional and responsive from initial quote through final inspection. Even helped me navigate a few minor issues in the inspection that were not related to their work. Reasonably priced as well. Would recommend them to anyone in the area!

Hired Haramis Electric recently for a recessed lighting project. They also installed a ceiling fan and a light fixture. Worked with Cade, Tom, and Fernando. We are very happy with the results. This is a very professional company that does great work and is both friendly and accessible. We intend to do more work with them in future, including more recessed lights, and I was happy to learn that they will fish networking cables through my house to repair and future-proof my Ethernet.

A fuse fail on our out of date panel. Nick was able to come to the house within an hour of us talking to them. Then stayed till the panel was replaced. He was very professional didn't try to talk me into any upgrades. Made sure everything us clean before leaving. The next electrical problem I call them to do the work. Already told co-workers about how impressed I was with them and will recommend them to anyone that ask about a electrician. Very satisfied!

I have an old building that needed the electrical panel upgraded from 100amp to 200amp. I worked primarily with Nick and Cade for the consultation and installation work. For my scenario the installation was a two step process (upgrade the panel and then another visit that had to be coordinated with BGE to upgrade the line to the house) where Tom came out for onsite work as well. The process was smooth and fantastic. I had many questions and concerns that Haramis Electric took care of with ease. They coordinated the work with the county for inspection and for scheduling BGE. They were always fast, friendly and responsive. Whenever I have any additional electrical work needed I will go straight to Haramis Electric! 5 Stars to Nick, Cade and Tom!

Robin and Cade spent most of yesterday at our home replacing smoke detectors (and fixing an original wiring problem they discovered) checked electric panel, added new outlets in our unfinished basement, added lighting in same and more on our long overdue list of repairs needed in our 30 year old home. From my first contact with them I have been pleased and happy with their professional and quality service. Just can't sing their praises enough!

The electrician was 3 minutes early, after calling to say he might be 5 minutes late. He was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. He installed my light fixture, determined that the problem was a bad switch and promptly fixed that, and was done in 35 minutes. Haramis is my new electrician for life.

After a Samsung Mechanic told me my wiring was bad and not providing a stable connection. I called haramis electric and they had someone out to my house in 3 days. When there was a scheduling mistake the owner himself came out to fix my issue so we wouldn't have to reschedule. He was quick to diagnose the issue and gave me a candid and honest response about my dishwasher and the situation. Couldn't ask for better service

Definitely 5 Stars! Top quality, affordable price! The team was able to squeeze me in for a quick estimate with my tight schedule and gave me an affordable and detailed quote. I asked them to install 60 amp subpanel in my garage. From that new panel, they installed three new circuits including a circuit for an EV charger. On the installation day, I wasn't able to be there, but they remembered what we discussed in our initial meeting, double-checked with my wife (who was home), and went right to work. I checked everything out when I got home that day and was really impressed. The work was really well done and they located all the outlets in the perfect spot too. I 100% recommend them for electrical work.

I was referred to Haramis Electric from a company I had purchased my outdoor heater from. Nick came out and researched what had to be done to get a heater to my outdoor pavilion area. The Haramis crew replaced my outdated panel with an upgraded one, and installed a new outlet in my kitchen. For the outlet they had to run a line through my ceiling, which required very minimal repair - unlike other contractors I've used in the past who tore the ceiling up. The crew was punctual and left my place in good condition. The work was a good value and I will use them again.

I recently requested a free estimate on a small project from Haramis Electric. Nick was kind enough to come out to my property to assess our needs. I was looking to upgrade the electricity on an outbuilding for use as a scientific lab. He proposed many different ways we could accomplish the task and was candid about some of the potential difficulties. After carefully listening to what I was trying to accomplish, he did something surprising by drawing upon his human resources and goodwill, which he built up over the years of providing excellent service to his clients. He picked up the phone and immediately called one of his contacts that rents out laboratory space to small startup businesses. Paying for an already built-out lab space would be a far better solution than trying to build a lab in my backyard. He did this with full knowledge that I would then not need his services. I am amazed at how helpful Nick and Haramis Electric have been in helping me with my potential electrical needs and, more importantly, in helping me problem-solve a completely different solution. I can say without an ounce of hyperbole, that if everyone did business this way, the world would be a better place. I will use Haramis Electric for every electrical project I have in the future and tell everyone I know about them. Thank you!

I can only speak to their honesty. Nick found my wallet in a parking lot and went above and beyond to track me down. He called multiple contacts in my wallet until he reached me and then returned the wallet. I haven't used Haramis yet but plan to in the future. Thanks Nick.

Nick came out personally very quickly to fix my problem with my switches.

Recently used Haramis to repair my pool pump. Excellent work. Later same day had a problem with my A/C. Called repairman. A/C came out and replaced circuit breaker (it was running hot). Breaker was still running hot. Called Nick at Haramis. He personally came out to find out what my problem was. Come to find out the A/C company left a wire loose on the breaker they installed. Thank goodness for Nick and his company. Lifesaver twice in one week. Highly highly recommended.

Haramis Electric was recommended to us by our HVAC company to address some seriously bad wiring by a prior HVAC company that caused a junction box fire - the owner Nick was an absolute pleasure, and was able to put things in terms a non-expert could understand. He sent Robin out to do the work - a lovely man and utter professional. We liked the company and its work so much we pulled out our "to do" list and asked if they could address those too. They were more than happy to, and we are now warm, and our other electrical issues (looking over the rest of the HVAC wiring for additional wiring issues, installing wall sockets, replacing an exterior light, and fixing a malfunctioning door bell that others had tried to fix but failed) fully sorted. Even better, the rates were reasonable and we felt we got value for our money. In short, I asked for a stack of business cards because we will be singing this company's praises to our friends and family.

Haramis Electric provided me the most prompt, professional, and personalized service I have ever received as a home owner. Nick Haramis came to the house to service a few items prior to putting the house on sale. During his visit, Nick was totally frank what can and should be done to prepare the house to put on the market. Coincidentally, the day before his arrival all of the smoke detectors began to fail. I changed the batteries, cleaned the connectors, but the this did not fix the problem. As the detectors were 12-year old, they happen to expire in close time proximity. Nick ordered new boxes and was to install them on the following Monday. When the final detector failed he Became concerned that I was in the house with no protection. Nick contacted our real estate agent and said he needed to get access to the house to install new alarms. Working with the real estate agent Nick came into the house and installed the alarms as well performed the other services while I was at the office. I am extremely impressed about Nick’s concern about my safety and quickly moved to mitigate any threat. That is what Haramis Electric is about: going above and beyond to provide exceptional and honest service with a personal touch.
